After a 7 year break from hunting she is back at it again. Since around Thanksgiving she had been hunting a big 8 that seemed to be smarter than the both of us put together. She keeped telling me that she wanted to arrow her first buck this year no matter what so she was refusing to use her rifle. It came down to the last couple hunts of the season this past weekend but she got it done. Its not the deer she wanted but for her first buck its a pretty nice one.
The buck was very nervous for some reason and because of that he jump the string causing a high and back shot. Although we reviewed the video and it showed a perfect arrow flight. She got a complete pass through and the arrow ended up about 10 yards passed it. Either way after a 150 yard track the shot ended up being lethal.

Using a Hoyt Trykon Sport at 43# with a 100 grain Razor Trick
