Arrowed a big boar today but the Rage only penetrated about 5 inches. No blood for 50 yards the spotty blood. Anyone else have this issue with a rage and an old boar?

I just shot a big boar a few days ago and I hit him a little far forward. I am shooting muzzy 3 blades now and because they cut on contact it went right through his shoulder and into his heart and lung. He only ran 100 yds with about 8 inches of penetration and a ton of thick red blood. In my opinion, especially for hogs, because they are so hard to penetrate I think that the cut on contact tips are the best way to go. Not only to you get extra penetration they are more cost effective if you lose them. Here is a pic of the entrance wound Of the hog I shot with my muzzy.

I've lost my last hog with a Rage broad head. Found the arrow, complete passthrough on an 80 pound or so boar my buddy had already hit behind the shoulder with a Rage. Lots of blood the first 60 to 80 yards, like a path of it, then fizzled out to drops and we never did find it. It swam a creek and kept going. Two Rage in the chest and no dead animal to show for it. The two I shot with fixed heads are in an ice chest right now. That was my last Rage, the others were carried off by hogs that we couldn't find, and that one went in the burn barrel at camp. No more mechanical heads for me.
