Nothing too wild on this hog -- I had just put together a simple ground brush blind when he strolled in not more than 15 feet away thru the web of strangler vines and oak trees. He scrutinized the 4 smaller 100lb pigs already feeding on the corn.
He finally opted to commit to come in after listening and watching for several minutes. I waited for him to turn hard quarter away, and sent a muzzy on the mark. Perfect hit - went no more than 45 yards and fell within sight. Walking up on him I had no idea just how big he was ! solid 200lbs+
( someones broad head burried into this pigs shield. Simply surrounded by scar tissue and healed fine. ** my shot is the hole to the back )
