We are Texas bound after a great week in Illinois. Martinshooter08, two non TBHers and I hunted some fabulous Southern Central Illinois farm country this week. It was whack and stack all week, as the land owner wanted the does thinned out. We obliged with 8 does. These does are incredible. Average mature does weigh in at 160--180#s. The one we did put on the scales was 166#s on the hoof, 139 dressed. She was not the largest.
Buck movement was slow most of the week, but change after the cold front. I was able to take this bruiser this morning before leaving.
