15 minutes after legal shooting ended. Had watched a couple of does but nothing else. Heard the pigs in the distance then had them rushing the feeder like they were starving! Drew and hit the hog light mounted to my bow. Light was at an angle! Let off, adjusted the light, then drew back again. This 50 pound redhead was lit up and I let the arrow fly. Talk about squealing! Luminok was shining and I thought I spined her. Long continuous squeal ended and I lit up the area again. Only saw my arrow under the feeder. When I got down later to retrieve the pig, the blood under the feeder was heavy. My arrow was the bloodiest I have ever seen. She hit a leg of the feeder and blood was running down. She traveled 20 to 30 yards and was dead right out in the open. Easy to find! Gutted, skinned, and delivered to my favorite processor where the hams are being smoked, backstrap is being butterflied, and the rest will become sausage.

Legal to have one. Not legal to use it on any game animal. Having one on you bow during WT season certainly puts you at risk of a game warden questioning usage on deer. I don't and never would. I will take my chances, but I'm gonna whack some pigs!
