Anyone have a report on the Junction area?

I havent been able to make it to the lease just north of junction yet, and should finally be able to go this weekend. Who has been up in that area lately? Other posts are indicating a drop off in movement lately because of the rain, acorns etc. Anyone have a report?

Nothing recent, but Two weeks ago I was in Menard when it rained and had plenty of deer every hunt- but I feed em good.
Old does look rough, bucks are lacking in the horn department.

I've definitely noticed the antlers are smaller this year, too. They were hitting the feeders hard the last time I was up there (Sept ) but that was before the rain. Anyone else?

Last weekend extreme dropoff in action btwn Junction and Menard...guess is acorns, green foliage popping up 2 weeks after the big rain, and return to warmer temps.

I was in Menard the latter part of last week and I will second the motion on these comments. As others have said, the deer really needed the rain, so I am glad even though it is bad for hunting in the short term.

Ok, I have a report. About 12mi northwest of junction, our deer are still hitting the feeders pretty good. There is a fair amount of green. Saw four bucks this morning. All too small

7 miles SW of Junction, seeing lots of deer but big drop off at the feeders. They have some greenery now to browse and some acorns. Guess there tired of their past year of nothing but Corn/Protein lol
