So Close to my first kill!

Had my pin on this guy @ 10 yds at 7 am. He was quartering to me the whole time! He ate corn for about 2 minutes, and I was at full draw the whole time. Felt like an eternity. He spooked, and never came back.

Mabye I can get him on the scales tomorrow morning. I'm gonna say 120#.

I shot one two days ago and would only give me an angle like that so I put the pin right behind it's ear and it dropped within sight , they do squeal quite a bit this way though , good luck !!

Finally got a shot at this guy. He comes in before daylight on some hand corn. About 10 minutes there, and he finally gets broadside, quartering away, leg forward............TWACK, SQUEEL, & runs away. I am pumped!!

As it gets lighter, I can see my arrow. I glass it, and see no blood. I get down, and get the arrow. Only a little blood right near the broadhead, and no blood on the ground. It had rained quite a bit the day before, so I was able to trail him for good ways, and never saw any blood.

I think that I shot under him, and hit him in the opposite leg, dead into the bone. I really thought I made a good shot, but I guess I didnt.

The broadhead was bought a bass pro, and is a Hellrazor knockoff. I bought them just to shoot pigs with. Attached are what a new one looks like, and what mine looked like after what I think was a direct bone hit.

Anyways...I have no shortage of pigs, but a big shortage of sausage. Need to bleed one soon!
