Chris and I were trying to remember what we had him scored last year.

Great buck well worth the wait.

After looking at his pics he was pushing 200 inches last year. I had him scored at the venado grande deer contest today and he actually went 180 7/8. The 176 was a rough score with a tape measure by a taxidermist in Dripping Springs. Not to mention he broke off about 7 inches of tine last week before I got him. He was 7 1/2 and lost at least 15 inches from last year. I just can't believe it.

WOW. Dripping Springs? High Fence? Protein?

Dripping Springs - Yes Sir

High Fence - No ( 70 acres low fence with great non hunting neighbors )

Protein - Yes , and this year about broke me. 10 to 15 bags a week all summer. Well worth it though.

I have a 2 1/2 year old ten that is about 130 inches that shows very strong genes from this guy. So I should only have to wait 4 years I hope.
