Anyone Hunted in Duval county, around San Diego?

Just wanting to get some feedback on deer hunting in San Diego/Alice/Freer area. Is it worth a $2150 lease for 550 acres with unlimited kills and can bring anyone along to hunt? Lots of deer? Nice size deer? Better places for the money to hunt with bow or gun?

On top of that the hunting lease is from a guy who is leasing it for cows from the owner with no contract to sign but basically a hand shake (some writing on a paper bag basically).

Any info would be greatly appreciated.

Are you close to the area? Reason I ask is cause without written agreement they can be day leasing during the week when your not there

Land owner is Garcia and cow lease is for Pasak (who is leasing for deer). That is all I know.

I am in SA. From what I know is that they do not day lease it and have not leased this lot in 4 yrs.

Most likely shot out there are great deer in that tea if you have a big enough place most everything around there is high fenced
