Went back out to the ranch to get last minute set-ups ready for next month and took advantage of being out there to try and cut down the piggies.
Just before dark, group of about 15 came storming in with two really good size ones at about 200 pounds each. They decided they wanted to eat from the same spot ansd let out the biggest screech at each other and then got spooky and started to leave the area right away, but the others continued to run around and feed. There were two sows that looked to be over 100 pounds and so I decided I would take one of them and drew back and got ready for a shot opening. The one that I decided on was looking my way and getting fidgety but another pig came up and she turned towards it and snorted--leaving me a slight quartering away shot. I touched off my release and watched as the Nocturnal went straight in behind the shoulder and then dust and pigs were running everywhere.
After they all had departed I was looking beyond where I shot for my arrow but did not see it, so I waited for about 15 minutes and then went to check for blood by the feeder.
It did not take me long to find the blood the Rage did a good job, it had just got dark so I got out my flashlight and started to track. I had only gone about 40-50 yards when I saw my arrow ahead and just beyond that was my pig.

You can see the exit hole-went in slightly forward and higher on the other side--caught the lungs.

She ended up weighing in just over 120 lbs.
