First Bow Buck

I’ve been lurking on this site for many years. I have harvested some does and hogs with the bow prior to taking my first bow buck over the weekend. This guy was taken in Hays County where the rut has definitely begun in the area I hunt. The bucks I’ve seen this year have really put on some body weight and some good antler growth. The shot was quartering away at 20 yards from a ground blind. The buck went about 50 yards before he expired. I fell very fortunate to harvest this guy. Good luck to you all!
