Perre David Deer

I had the opportunity to hunt a Perre David deer this last weekend with the guys from Texas Hunt Lodge and I had a great time. The deer is currently 2nd in the TGR standings with a bow. I had a 29 yard shot quartered and walking away and it was a clean pass through. A double lung shot that exited his shoulder. He went 20 yards and was done.
I cannot wait to go back and hunt a hungarian fallow. Great lodge and great guides.
