    Another off the bucket list

I had the opportunity to take an oryx with my bow a couple weeks ago. I have been extremely blessed on getting to take some exotics lately. I have been seeing some over the last year or so but nothing that jumped out at me. On a recent trip I was given the green light if I could get in range, that range was a little farther than I was used to, but I had been shooting quite a bit before the trip. I got to within 38 yards and could not seem to get any closer without pushing him away, it was an hour long stalk so I convinced myself I could make the shot if I could get the right angle, Finally I had him quartered away at 37 yards and settled my 40 yard pin well behind the shoulder, Thwack, complete pass through and he ran about 30 yards before piling up right in the middle of the trail. That is the exit hole you see in the pic. I was pumped and shaking like a mad man, I can't wait to see him on the wall. Thanks for lookingClick image for larger version
