First off, let me say, Charlie Cheatom is the man!
Two years ago, I had the pleasure to be invited to Charlies lease in Del Rio to take a few culls and does. Also, Charlie told me if I had the chance, I could shoot a turkey and javalina. Way more than I ever expected. On that hunt, I shot 2 culls, a doe and a big gobbler. Never did see a javi, but needless to say, it was a great hunt!
Well, last thursday, Charlie invited me back to his place. I was pumped! Really, the only thing I wanted to shoot was a javi. But, I wasnt opposed to shootin anything else I got the green light on!
Without boring yall with too many long winded details (want to save the details for a story I'm writing for LSBA Magazine), I did have a grilled turkey breast stuffed with jalapenos and wrapped with bacon for dinner monday night and dropped off two deer at Kaspers Meat Market in Weimar yesterday to have sausage made! Had my shot at a javi but it wasnt meant to be. Without a doubt another memorable hunt with a great guy!
