Lampasas doe with 2 dog track (video)

I went up to Lampasas to try out my Elite GTO. I was shooting really well with it but that wasnt the case for the hunt. I hit her in the liver and some paunch. She quartered to me and I made a mistake in taking the shot. Glad the dogs were there for help. Molly found it about 300 yards later in just a few minutes. I have never tracked with my male and he is somewhat of a tool at times. He at least followed along and got some experience.

great dogs, now just teach them to retrieve. They are big enough to fetch that doe right back to ya.

That would be nice. My biggest problem now is keeping her from eating it!!!
