My first deer with a bow!!!

I hunt in hill county just outside of Whitney. I have been bowhunting for the last three seasons and for a number of different reasons have come up empty handed....that is until last Friday morning when a beautiful 16 inch 9 point that I had Been watching all morning on the other side of the field disappeared into the wood and reappeared about 50 yards from me and continued to walk right next to my tripod. I got him to stop just long enough to take a shot...right on target he jumped the fence and ran about a total of 20 yards. I have killed alot of deer on our ranch but never any as thrilling as this..

LDP=laying down picture, where you get a picture of you with your deer and the weapon of choice in the picture if you so choose... Not on your tailgate!!!

All around better picture to have as a keepsake of YOUR deer.... Look around in the bowhunting reports and you will see some
