First off - I finally killed my first buck with a bow after four years of bow hunting. I never thought it would be a Sika though. We hardly ever see exotics at our ranch and this one just happened to be passing through when I got a shot at it. It was about a 25 yard shot and he ran about 150 yards. The slick trick magnum left a good blood trail. I am pretty excited.

Now, for the trivia question. We have no hogs at our ranch. I have never seen a coyote and only heard one about two or three years ago. There are no black panthers or chupacabra sightings. It is outside of Comfort, Texas. I did not see any buzzards on the day I shot this deer. However, six hours after gutting the deer, I returned to set up a trail cam on the gut pile and something had already eaten all the gut and there was only a little bit of blood left.
Anyone know what would have eaten the guts?
