We weren't able to seal the deal on any deer this weekend, but BowHunter148 and myself were able to put the smack down on these big sows. I was able to connect on Friday night about 30 min before dark. I had a 26 yard quartering away shot, and she went about 70 yards and piled up. There wasn't much blood at the point of impact, but there was blood all over the trees she passed.
BowHunter148 was able to double lung his big sow on Sunday morning. she was feeding on some corn we put out the day before about 30 yards from him. He slick-tricked his sow as well. She sounded like a train busting through the woods. Blood everywhere and she ran about 70-80 yards as well.
