Public land deer + NAP Bloodrunners= BACKSTRAPS!!!

I shot this doe and nubby this morning at Benbrook Lake. About 4 deer came in around 7:30am. I shot mommy first at 8-10 yards and then 30 mins later, the little guy came out at around 20 yards. I thought he was the other doe. If I'd known he was a nubby, I'd let him walk.

Anyway, these are my first deer bowkills after a 2 year drought!

Nice doe, but ****! Even if the little one had been a doe and not a nubby buck, hell, you can still see the spots on the hindquarters. I would have let him walk just for being so small. Just my opinion, so everyone get on here and jump my case.

Nice doe kill though. Big hole. Is that a Rage?

Man, I hear ya. He came in about half hour after I shot the doe. He was by himself so I had nothing to compare to. And from 20 feet high and 20 plus yards away, in the woods, I saw a doe. Not proud, but I know it won't get wasted...

I'm was shooting 2 blade NAPS bloodrunners.
