openin weekend buck

I was after a specific 8pt. One that was really wide AND the only eight I have had come into the feeder all summer SOOOOOOO when this dude stepped out I didn't give a second thought. I dropped the hammer and made a solid double lung with a Rage. He went thirty yards and face planted. This deer matches 100% when looking at the proifile, but is at least 6-8 inches narrower than the specific deer I was after. I'm not unhappy because this is a great deer for the area, but it isnt what it was supposed to be. It is going to be a difficult hunt when mr wide steps out. I will have to "shoot" him with the video. Lesson learned..........
