Me and a buddie of mine are heading out for bowhunters paradise ranch in bracketville texas in the morning, hopfully i will be returning with a new fallow deer and ram for the wall.This will be my second trip to this ranch, last year i was able to take my first axis deer and a nice ram. with the best of luck i hope to have some photo's to post as soon as i return.

Jim the owner of the ranch say's they should be close, there rule is you can't take any game still in velvet, but when i talked to him he said it would be ok due to the fact they should be starting to rub out around the time we will be there, i thought it was a little early toComment

Our fallow don't shed until middle of August, but we are alot farther north than he is. Best of luck with it. A fallow in velvet would be pretty coolComment

i was out there in the middle of june. i saw a coulple of fallow bucks that looked like they had potential. other than that, 4 days hunting and not one shooter anything came to the stand. lots of females and immature males. didnt see one ram. i hope your luck is better than mine was. its a great place though, Jim really worked hard to try and get me a shot. and the food is excellentComment
