    bowhunters paradise!!!!

    Me and a buddie of mine are heading out for bowhunters paradise ranch in bracketville texas in the morning, hopfully i will be returning with a new fallow deer and ram for the wall.This will be my second trip to this ranch, last year i was able to take my first axis deer and a nice ram. with the best of luck i hope to have some photo's to post as soon as i return.

        I was thinking the same thing. Usually, they're on the same schedule as whitetail.

          Jim the owner of the ranch say's they should be close, there rule is you can't take any game still in velvet, but when i talked to him he said it would be ok due to the fact they should be starting to rub out around the time we will be there, i thought it was a little early to

            Our fallow don't shed until middle of August, but we are alot farther north than he is. Best of luck with it. A fallow in velvet would be pretty cool

                          Thanks every one, yeah its a pretty good drive for use, it take about 10 hrs to get there, last year i took my wife and it took us about 13 hrs, lol

                              i was out there in the middle of june. i saw a coulple of fallow bucks that looked like they had potential. other than that, 4 days hunting and not one shooter anything came to the stand. lots of females and immature males. didnt see one ram. i hope your luck is better than mine was. its a great place though, Jim really worked hard to try and get me a shot. and the food is excellent
