Well I headed down to Keith Johns place and stuck a couple hogs and a blackbuck doe. The first hog came out right at 6:20 a.m., with several others. The spotted hog I wanted to shoot didnt present me a shot so I decided to take the biggest one of the group which was broadside right at 20 yards (what persuaded me lol). The second hog I shot that same evening about 10 minutes after I arrowed a blackbuck doe. There are no pictures of the BB doe because, well, we didnt find here. She was right at 20 yards broadside, but these animals move like lightning, and when she heard the arrow release, she ducked, and I saw my arrow stuck high in her shoulder. Never found a drop of blood or a snapped off arrow. Five minutes later I hear severe grunting and about 20 hogs came in to feed. I had taken my release off and not even nocked another arrow because I was so shaken up about the BB doe. So I put back on my release and Knocked another arrow and picked out a nice eater pig. Drew back and put a perfect shot right at 20 yards. I guess it was a little redemption. Anyways enjoy the pics.
