My work was having a special guest last week, and we have been wanting to have a bbq anyways so we decided to go all out. Our guest was none other than Ted Nugent bowhunter extraordinaire. Work was willing to pay for me to go get something to cook and I figured he would approve with what we all like to chow down on so I went for pig. I went out to DB hunting just down the road since it is the closest place and closest to a sure thing as I can manage. My backup plan was brisket, and I would have to pay for the hunt if I came home empty handed....no pressure!!!!.....I came thru perfectly with these two delecious pit pigs. We cooked them up and our guest loved them and the fact that I (one of our few resident bowhunters) managed to kill it AND grill it as I was the cook of these two as well. He was down to do a video about our company, and pickup a gun he ordered at the shot show in Feb. It turned out well. I'm not sure how much camera time yours truley will make, but it was cool having them film, and having him sign autographs while there. It was a great morale booster for the employees. I enjoyed the hunt, and the food! The shots were double lung, and heart. Both with two blade Rage. Neither made it very far at all. I hadnt hardly picked up my bow since the season ended. It felt good to make two money shots.
