Went on a hunt close to Laredo last week ,before the cold front blew in Friday there were 11 killed that afternoon ,Darrel and I took a 6 ft plus one with 15 rattles,and no button.
I love my snake chaps.

Thats too cool.I want to get a western diamondback to take to the taxidermist one of these days.We only have prairie rattlesnakes where I live.They dont get anywhere near as big as the ones ya'll have down there but we have a bunch of em'.I see about 100 or more every year on average.About 3 years ago I saw at least 200 of them in about 4 months.

Yeah, Dustin fed him 3 Grim Reapers before they could get him slowed up enough to whack his bean!! It will give the skin some character having the broadhead holes in it though. He said it is amazing how bad you shake when you are trying to aim at something like that. No thanks. I would have been the guy leaving the scene fast!!

I was there at the Puig ranch hunting too when he shot it. Huge snake! Mike took a shot at a bobcat in a tree with a rabbit also during this hunt! Lots of javelinas shot!
