Got my first kill with a Bow this past weekend and I am hooked. Made a total of four shots on three animals with one miss (first shot...about five feet low...glad my wife got video of that) one hit (superficial shoulder wound...three hour search...no pig 
) one hit and kill (single lung...will sit in stand and wait a while for animal to die next time) one hit low and to the rear (animal recovered with a lot of help from a friend). This is actually my first hunt for anything other than waterfowl, doves. I am lucky my friend was there and the outfit was very helpful but I would be shirking my responsibilities if I didn't become more prepared and better my skills. I must hunt again soon and I must get better.

I'm a new bow hunter as well and definitely part of the "hooked" club. I made two shots on my first pig hunt both hit but only one recovered. Also took my first deer a couple of weekends ago.
