09 was an amazing year for me. I'll try to back track and share it with you. I warn you it will be a long read but full of pics
The hunting started in Jan. when a young Marine machine gunner came home to shoot a few hogs with his dad. we headed east to a friends place for a 4 day trip. Jimmy killed 5 pigs with his 300 short mag. and I killed 1 with my new Bowtech Captain 
and 1 with my 300 shorty.
The first weekend in febuary I hosted my firends from Big Sky archery on a 5 day hog hunt. so back to the jungles of east Texas. We all shot hogs, my friend Jayson took a monster. [ATTACH]
[/ATTACH] Then lady luck really smiled on me and I scored a new lease in Frio county. so I spent alot of the early summer alternating between fishing
and learning the ranch/hunting hogs I have no idea just how many pigs I shot in 09 but it was more than a few.[ATTACH][ATTACH]
[/ATTACH][/ATTACH] the second week in sept. I headed for Montana to hunt antelope with my friend Jayson and his dad. what a trip, we each took a P&Y goat
then I spent a few days chasing elk with Bill the owner of Big Sky archery we didnt shoot an elk but my goodness is it beautifull up there
Deer season started out kind of slow for me I took my first deer a doe on a firends place in Crockett co. he asked me to come help him shoot a couple cull bucks and a doe or 2. I never had a shot at the culls but I did manage to kill a doe and a pig for him
things were still slow in south Texas going into nov. I rattled in a small buck at my home place one night after work. I let him walk the first time he came in but when he came back after my next series it was more than I could take
I then started to focus totally on the lease in south Texas I was on a quest to shoot my first P&Y whitetail it took a few trips but one lucky morning I was in the right place at the right time 
141 3/8 I'm still amazed. my next deer would come a few weeks later I passed on several does that were with bucks because I didn't want to educate the bucks to the stands finally a loner stepped in to the killing zone for me.
the next thing I shot was a hog and then I got my 1st turkey with a bow
I got to be there when my good friend Headhunter shot a roman nosed cull
then I topped my season off dec.26 with another nice deer a 5.5yr old 10 that scored 127 7/8 
I hope 2010 is half as good as 09 was for me. I started 2010 off right taking a nice hog on the evening of jan.1st
