Sorry for the bloody pics. I guess its what happens when you take them in the dark..lol
Well I decided to head out to the lease to try some bow hunting. I haven't been for while so I wasn't sure if the feeder was still working. I drove up to the feeder to check to make sure it was working and I jumped a doe out of feeder pen t 3:45. All looked good so I parked the truck and made my way back. At around 4:30 a small 7 point came in and feed for awhile until the feeder went off and scared the crap out of him. He left out doing 90 until I could no longer see him. After that is was slow for awhile as I watched cows and cows and cows and cows feed through my hunting area. Finally before dark and as I started to freeze my rear off a nice buck came in. I decided he was a shooter and managed to get a arrow in him. This is my second deer with the Atom broad head and so far it has done its job.
