With pretty solid duck hunting, and really slow deer hunting, I hadnt spent much time chasing deer. With the split in, we went out to San Saba this weekend. I had seen a couple of pics of this buck at feeders during the summer, but only had one pic of him since sept. Well, he trolled a little too close to the stand after a doe yesterday. Rage smoked him. He didnt even make it 10 yds. Havent scored him, but would guess around 140. My second best archery buck.
Not a bad buck for freerange hill country. Mgmt can pay off. This guy was about 110" last year.
