Carta Valley Double Cull Hunt/Video->>>------->
I started a live hunt thread here....
it went on with lots of pics and just about live as you can get posting updates almost instantly!
I ended up taking two bucks the rancher wanted taken from his high fence ranch. Both were fairly young but just didnt match up with the other 8s that were same age and perfectly symetrical,etc.. One didnt have any browtines at all.
I started not to post the video of the first buck because I broke my own rule and rushed a shot
the deer probably would have relaxed and went back to feeding, but I knew the hand corn was gone from the exotics and he just showed back up and I rushed shot. Could have even waited till next morning,etc. but I didnt. I have shot several deer quartering to me and always go in in front of shoulder and they die/crash within sight. I know it is not an ideal shot because of this very reason and I learned that- however at this close yardage I went for it and the deer died within 100 yrds, but it was not pretty cause I hit right a couple inches...But to keep it real I put shot on video- ugly as it is.

now I can go back and take a few other critters such as 1 good white tail cull, mouflon rams, black buck does, and a few others
