My Middle son went on his first cross bow hunt on Sunday. He was perched on a 16ft ladderstand near a feeder. Finally after 1.5 hours 3 does arrived. The first time he tried to rase his X-bow he got caught and the deer left but lucky for him they came back. I was watch through binoculars and saw one of the does spook again. then I heard the cross bow go off. When a walked over to him he was shaking. I ask him if he hit her and he said I think I heard it. The bolt hit the fence on the back side of th epen and when we picked it up it was coated red. His smile grew. after 50 yrds his trophy was laying there expired. He is hooked on crossbow hunting and can not wait to go again.

This is my seven yr old he is our tracker he can spot blood a mile away. Good young eyes. He is ready to try the X bow too. He shot a 153 b/c with a rifle last year. Did I mention he is lucky Too!!
