Finally made it up to our place near Adamsville this weekend, other than the wind it was great hunting weather. Had a small eight point chase her right by my stand Sunday morning. He was gruntin and doggin her for several hundred yards before they got to me. When she was close I stood turned and drew back just when she got down wind of me she stopped and the Rage took care of the rest. She ran about 30 yds and went down. The buck would not leave her. He stayed within about 20 feet of her until I found my arrow and began to walk his way, then he trotted off. These young does always seem to come into heat a little early up here. Thanks for reading.
