    Colorado Elk DOWN!

    Buddy of mine just sent me this photo of the Bull he took yesterday, in CO.

    Not the biggest on the mountain, but it's his first and he, and all of us, are excited about it!

    65 yd shot with a Magnus Stinger BH. 50 yard recovery (he watched him fall).

    He's been up there since Wednesday and this is the first elk he has seen. Hasn't heard ANY bugling either!

    pic is from a cell phone so it's not the "best".

    Private land, do it yourself hunt.

      heading out tomorrow for the great state of Colorado to do some Elk hunting with stick & string. This has me a little more primed now.....

                          I was totally pumped with my 1st Elk & it looked just like that one. Only difference is I took mine with a rifle Congrats to your buddy. I can't wait to get a chance with my bow.
