OK Guys....
The ranch is 6890 acres high fenced. It is mainly private with very little commerical hunting. They plan on taking out allot of management bucks this year. I have exclusive outfitting rights with the deals. So stay tuned for some deals to come. It comes with a 3 bedroom - 2 bath house and a ranch truck. They kill 180" bucks off of there every year!!
Went to my interview at 12 noon today and we ate at the Old Spanish Trail in Bandera while we talked business. My wife Tisha went with me due to the fact that she was going to be doing some work there as well. The owner started to tell us about the job and what all was required for us to do. He started off pretty tight but loosened really quick after he realized the type of people we were. He asked us if we were ok with the duties and of course, we said hell yeah. After all was done, he said he was going to give the ranch hands there 2 week notice and send them on there way.
BEST QUOTE OF THE INTERVIEW CAME FROM MY WIFE....
OWNER: I have a second ranch hand working there now and he stays in a little cabin on the property. I am going to let him go as well. If you want too, you can hire a second man to help you out when you need it.
MY WIFE: We don't need to hire a second man.
OWNER: Why not, you can use him when you need him.
MY WIFE: We don't need a second man because I am the second man!!

This totally blew him off of his feet.
He told us that he was going to give the two guys working there a 2 week notice and that we could stay in his dads house at the ranch and work along side them. We called it good at that and agreed to all of the duties with no problems.
We shook hands and left out of there.... About 15 minutes later, he calls me back and says.... I talked it over with my dad and he wants me to get those guys out of there NOW. He sai that his dad wanted to give them a 1 months severance pay and send them packing. His dad further stated that he wanted Tisha and I to start quickly. The owner told me he wanted me to meet him on Monday morning with a packed bag and I would follow him to the ranch and stay in his house while the other guys packed and moved in a couple of day.
This is a big relief for my whole family and we are ready to roll!!
I have to give special thanks to Jimmy Perlitz from the Perlitz Ranch and Randy who is the owner of the Oasis Outback in Uvalde for putting me in this job with there kind words.

I also want to thank my fellow TBH brothers for all fo the prayers. We felt them all and greatly appreciate them.

Thanks,
The Draughon Fmaily
