Just got done with 6 weeks of filming the Noc-It-Up Team Challenge. I was able to get a couple hunts in myself while there. I shot this ram at about 7 yards while sitting on the ground. A lot of the brush was too short there to sit on a chair of any kind so I had to sit on the ground to be hidden. I hunted three different days before getting a chance at this ram. I had several other animals within easy shooting range, but I was after a ram only. I shot it with my 50# takedown longbow made by Bob Sarrels, an Easton Axis carbon arrow tipped with a 140 gr. Magnus 2 blade head with a 100 gr. steel broadhead insert.
This was the first time I've ever had the opportunity to hunt any type exotic. After watching 10 hunters each week for 6 weeks, I'm sure it won't be my last. There were some really nice animals taken over the course of the 6 weeks. You can see pic's of some of them on the show's web site: www.nocitup.com
