    Matthews Bow Question

My son and were just out back shooting, and while I was at full draw I heard a faint click. I let down and looked over the bow and the arrow and couldn't find anything. I shot three more arrows and everything seemed fine. While my son was retreiving our arrows I found the problem.

The bottom limb split right on the edge. The bow is a Conquest 3 that I paid around $800 for it a few years ago. It was brand new, and I take very good care of my stuff. It has never been dropped or knocked around.

Have any of you experienced anything like this with a Matthews? I'm also wondering if they will replace the limbs? I'm guessing if they will, I'll have to cover shipping.

    This really blows.
Our bow season isn't far off, and this could put a big damper on things.

If you are the original owner, and registered the bow in your name, MATHEWS will warranty them. But only through an authorized dealer. Should take them about a week tops to get you a new set.

Matthews will take care of you, and the dealer should be able to get the limbs in no time at all. Bow season shouldn't be lost!

Wow, that could have turned out bad. Has anybody ever had limbs totally break on them?

Call mathews, they will take care of you. Limbs are covered for replacment if that happens and no apparent neglect is seen, had to replace the limbs on a old MQ32 I had.

You were lucky, I had a 6 month old Jennings Arrowstar bow up in my face at full draw. I was just about to release when the bottom limb let go, scraped a little hide off of the inside of my elbow. Sure was a little gun shy for a while.
Still have the bow and it still shoots good after 30 years.

If you didnt fill out a warranty card your dealer probably did.Call Mathews and give them the serial # and see what they say.

Go through a Mathews dealer. Mathews has the best customer service I have ever seen with any bow company.

I checked the filing cabinet, and I don't have the registration card with everything else, so it must have been sent in.

First thing tomorrow I will make some calls. I really like the bow and I'm looking forward to resolving the problem. This will be my first time dealing with Matthews on an issue, but I have heard pretty good stuff just as all of you have posted.

While looking, I found the unsent cards for two Golden Eagles, and a Parker!

Thanks for the replies, I've calmed down a bit. I was a little bit mad earlier.
