Information wanted on Hog hunting at Richland Creek WMA.

I have been wanting to go for my first hog hunt for a while. My hunting buddy started me bow hunting last year, Good Lord this is addictive! I would like to take my bud out to hunt hogs, he has only been once previously and didn't get anything.
I was told about Richland Creek area, but only in passing conversation. Does anyone have information on the area? Which side(N or S area), where in the area has best concentration, best times to hunt, basically who, when, where, why, and what.
By the way, I need to say this. My hunting buddy got me out of my office and back into the woods after years of corporate climbing and too much work. After, the Marine Corps I just crawled into work. I was becoming a automated PC sheep. This guy just grabbed me up and said "we are going Deer hunting, grab your gear." I started feeling alive again.
His house burned down three months ago and he lost everything. I want to give to him what he gave to me. Some time in the woods to relax, see God's work, and let him know I am there as his friend.
So, any help and information anyone can give me would help. We are both out of N. Dallas. If there is a better place to go in North Texas feel free to say so.
Thanks, shoot straight, and stir up the sheep whenever you get a chance, they need the excitement.

I could be wrong, but I believe RC WMA has a "season" on hogs. Somewhere around Feb or March.
I've only hunted on the north side. Lots of hog sign, esp along the river.
