My son is needing a new string for the used Bear Truth he got. Should he go with a stock string or a custom one? Which brand to you like?

Some custom strings are not that expensive.
I use Stone Mountain.

I've had bucknasty strings in the past and they were great! If you can find a shop to put them on for you. I had two places tell me they wouldn't put them on since I didn't buy from them. I bought a bow press and learned how to do it myself. In the Houston area Scott at Viking archery makes a pretty good set as well and puts them and gets the bow in tune as well.Comment
