    I can send my prayers.

I know a little about CA tenant law, and if she's been staying with them for a few weeks, even for free, she's classified as a tenant and can't be 'thrown' out if she refuses to leave (I think- not the situation she wants).

There must be some emergency support group. This is from the Camp Pendleton web site, I'd suggest she (or you) call these numbers and find out who she can talk to about the problem.

In the Army we had family support groups. They were made up of family members of units. There purpose is to help other dependents while the soldiers are deployed.I've gotta believe the Marines have the same program.

Camp Pendleton has hotels on base for very cheap that are visiting families and friends of Marines. I bet she could get in one for a night or two.

Tell her to call the Ombudsman!! They specialize in this type of situation especially for dependants. Her husband's unit/squadron/battallion or whatever should have a 800 number for her to reach them at.

Call the Navy Relief Society, they can hook her up with emergency lodging, meals and a per diem.... They'll probably get to stay on base in a relief service "hotel", make sure she gets to the dr, and also help with car repairs......
