    Rangefinding binoculars

What is your experience with them? Who makes the best ones. It would be nice to have just one thing around my neck instead of two banging against each other making noise. Do the lifetime warranties just cover the bino part or both?

I had a buddy who had a pair of Lieca's and it was very nice to have both in one but from what I remember, they cost a pretty penny though.

I have the Leica Geovids & they are no dought the best investment ive ever made.IMO they are the best glass hands down. Ive tried them all & Leica's are the clearest. The range finder is also the most accurate out to 1200 yrds.Look on SWFA.com Or Samplelist.com & they have some good deals on them. I think there is another co. makeing them now but cant remember who.

I use a pair of the 10x42's as well.... Clarity is unmatched and the range finding is dead on.....now the only complaint is that they do not take into account up/down hill ballistics....that being said, there is only so much one can expect from a set of binos....

Check out optics planet...right now they are running a sale on the 10x42's

Everyone I know that has a pair said the cost does not bother you once you get them out in the field, incredible glass.

The Zeiss units now have the TBR....with corresponding bump in cost.

Found a great deal on SWFA. They have the geovids 10x42 for $1700 and then you get a $350 mail in rebate. Picked up a brand new pair for $1350 for $2400 glass Couldn't pass it up for $1k off! They arrived yesterday and they are awesome.
