arrow rest for an old bow

I bought an old bow from a co-worker this spring. I have been practicing and geting it set up to hunt this fall. This bow is a Browning Black Knight. I have a flipper rest and I am looking for something to help hold the arrow straight. I think a cushion plunger might help with this but I am not sure. The salesman at Gander mountain said there was't much I could do about the arrow rest because it is not a centershot bow. The bow has a threaded hole in the handle.

I would appreciate any reccomendations and ideas. I am also looking for archery shops in the Spring / Tomball area.

I'd take it to a bow shop. Even if it's not centershot, a 2-prong type or a whisper bisquit rest will fit screwed in from the "outside" of the riser. You need to find a real bow pro shop.

      +1 on what Bill said.
      Something like this:

I've got a couple of old bows. One has a HM2000 the other has a 2-prong deal.
It'll get you there. Get it tuned in and practice, practice, practice!!!

Head over to Lancaster Archery or Eders on the net. They have what you are looking for.

I have an old Bear Whitetail Hunter, uses a Flicker rest. I have a few parts and pieces I've picked up along the way. Post pic of riser with the hole your talking about I think I have something that is for that type of set up.
