if you could slip in a section of quick links under "Mary's" area ie campfire, classifieds, hunting reports, etc.. it would flow IMHO ( i know site navigation, but quick links for us oldies)

I don't need the "site navigation", "search forums", "current poll", "stats" boxes, or the calender unless it becomes functional. If they were gone the actual "thread box" could be wider, and the page in general not so busy. Not quite there yet, but you're certainly sneakin up on it! I like the new color scheme, and banner as well.

I agree with giving sponsors space, and perhaps a bit to current threads, but the calendar, user profile, etc. is not useful IMO.

For those that don't like certain boxes, click on the blue box in the upper right corner and close them out. I am sure the settings will save the changes made for the next visit. It wil remove clutter from your screen and still give you plenty of information! give it a whirl!

For the calendar, it would be cool to see who has what event going on for Happy Hours and BBQs and such, but someone would have to maintain it. Or you could give us free reign and allow us to add stuff to the calendar as we need/want and not be able to remove it unless we are the original poster of the event.

For the sponsor box, maybe a button that will send us to a link with all of the site sponsors and a brief description of their goods and services, along with a rotating menu of a few of them below that button.

PRETTY COOL, HOWEVER I AM STILL ON THE FENCE WITH THE "NEW LOOK". I DO HOWEVER LIKE THE MODEL ON THE PAGE!!!

I WOULD LIKE TO SEE A LINK TO A MAP OR A MAP THAT YOU COULD EASILY LOOK AT TO SEE WHERE PEOPLE ARE FROM OR TO LOOK UP A COUNTY. AS OF NOW I HAVE TO OPEN UP ANOTHER WINDOW TO DO THIS.
