Well I stood out there long enough to get mosquito bit 32 times, have the dogs scare the livin daylight out of me, almost get locked out of the house, stub my toe on the stairs... But hey I did get to see 3... I suppose that was worth the trip
I went out this morning about 3, didn't see anything in about 15 minutes. Moon was too bright and there was a this layer of haze/ humidity (amazingly just like the local TV weather guy said there would be!) that hampered viewing.
Checked at 4:15 when I got up for work but there is way too much light to see anything. Am going to have to try and catch one in the clear cool winter sky in the hill country.
I was up. Hiked back to the south end of our pond where the most light was blocked, I saw a few, not nearly as many as were expected. I couldn't get a shot of them because the moon was so high... which affects them
But I still saw some great ones that looked like huge green fireballs. Still a wonderful sights, I hope yall got to see it.
