We use same wire and also some with panels. Make the pen bigger. Leave the height and cut a few low spots and fold the wire down maybe a foot to 18 inches. By making some low spots in the fence it help dictate the travel routes of the deer in and out and allows you to route deer to your shooting lanes. Most deer with take the path of least resistance to get in and out. Works good for us. Good luck!
