I have a big boar that frequents my feeder, but he comes at varying times. Sometimes he comes when the feeder goes of and other times it's in the middle of the night. Is there any suggestions on how to make him come to the feeder ona more regular basis? I'm feeding a mixture of corn and antlermax at this time. Do any of the hog attractants work?

I wouldn't change anything or you may scare him off. It's hard to beat plain old corn.
Just go hunt him. -
If he is staying close by i would try mixing about three boxes of strawberry jello mix in about 5 gallons of water and pour it over some corn,that has worked well for me latelyComment

Check the time stamps on the pics. I have seen pigs come and a certain time every 2-3 days and differnt times on other days. Or you can sit in the stand for a week straight he should showComment

Thats not the right picture is it? .......Either way some sow in heat might work. Dont just put attractant out when you are hunting though because they will associate it with you.Comment

I have my feeder set at 7AM and 7PM for now. Sometimes it's around when the feeder goes off and sometimes it's not. The problem is I live 225 miles away and can't get there very often. This is actually the property where my house is being built. I'm either gonna double lung it or put a bullet in it's ear the next time I'm there and I want to keep him coming in.Comment

How many seconds are you slinging corn? If you shorten the run time he might come closer to when the feeder goes off if he has to compete with other animals for the corn.Comment

I'm slinging 2 seconds 6:45am & pm and I have a pig coming in at pretty much 2 seperate times but consistant on the 2 times up to hour.
So far I can go get him, but I'm really just waiting to get more activity at this location.Comment
