I guess that would explain all the hair standing up.

Late to the thread here, but I am on the fence about the wolf deal. I had an experience this past season in Anderson County that I am still not sure of. Two does came blowing through the woods, tails down and in after burner mode, not far behind and catching ground was a very large and thick coated yote/wolf? I have never seen coyotes run a deer down and this thing was gaining. The 2 doe finally hit some open ground at the end of the tree line and the canine let up and trotted back to the woods. All this took place in EARLY morning, and the closest it got was maybe 75 ish yards. I have never known coyotes to be that big and full?? Not another sight and no trail cam pics of it either.
As for the Longtailed cats, there are a few around and to many people are seeing them to not believe.

That looks to me to be as yote as yote gets. I see nothing about a wolf in that pic.

not disagreeing, I don't think its a wolf either, but would you admit he is extremely large for a yote?

It Is a large yote, but the head is a dead giveaway.

looks a little photoshoped. Length of tail is wolf-eque in proportion to legs vs song dog, however.

I dont think there are wolves but bet there have been a few released grey's down here. But it would be cool if there was one!!
