I'm shooting a 2008 bowtech 82nd. Looks like my speed has drop over the the past yr since I bought the bow. Change was 315 to 300ft/sec. I am wondering if the orginal string has just stretched this much. Checked limbs all are tightened down. same arrows (easton ST Nano 400). I still need to verify my draw weight (orginally 62lbs). Just wanted to get a recommendation on what to do next - bow string?

String stretch.
Check A2A.
If the strings are still good, they can be twisted back to spec. -
Unless the string is showing signs of failure like fuzz, strands loose, knots under the serving, or broken servings then a simple tune up should return it to it's former glory...Comment

String is in good shape. I do wax did after every use. Thanks for the feedback.Comment

Don't know about the string but i just took my bow in to viking archery at canyon lake and i am shooting 65 lbs. He told me to switch from the 400's to 340's (gpi). I like the change and i am pretty sure its a little faster.Comment

400 and 340 in arrow size refer to spine deflection. 340's usually weigh more than 400's since they are stiffer and because of this shoot slower.Comment
