In a county with antler restrictions can you take a doe with the spike tag?

You have 5 whitetail tags, if your county allows it you can take 5 does and no bucks. Only 3 tags work for bucks but all 5 tags work for does. Hope this helps.

Yeah he is referring to west of IH-35, all those counties have upped the doe bag limit this year. Check your county regs, but in mills county you could now shoot 5 does if you used you buck tags for does instead.

On your license tags, #5 and 6 are anterless only. #7, 8 and 9 are buck or antlerless. If I hunt in a two doe county, I will use tags 5 and 6 first. If you hunt in other counties, you are allowed to use all five of your tags on antlerless deer if you abide by the individual county limits.
