Remember rear steering Chevy 1/2 tons?

I have only seen 2 of these on the road over the years. But I remember back about 5 years ago, they were advertising for a 1/2 ton that had some rear steering axels to assist with tight parking lots, and fast highway swerves. Anyone every own one? Know where there is a used one for sale? How much they are worth? You never see that as an option listed in a search engine at the used car online sites.

Only saw them on the commercial Shack. They must not have worked out as well as planned.

I've seen maybe 10. They have flared out rear fenders.....like mini-duallys. That's the easiest way to recognize them.

Thanks. I did a search on "Quadrasteer" and dug up info. Apparently it was discontinued because not enough people wanted to pay the $4k extra. But every person who has owned one, swears by it.

If I could find one in a $7,000 range, I would buy it.
