    Feeder problems.

I am tired of the coons tearing up my feeders, even when they have coon cages on them. Has anyone tried wrapping the legs with barbed wire to try and prevent them from climbing up? Let me have some input.

Yes, do a search for coon prevention and check out the DIY section Lots of good ideas... The best i've used so far was vaseline on the legs. grease washed off.. I've had the same vaeline on for 4 months... Barbed wire made it easier for them to climb.

X2 do a search there is great info on other threads.
I used 3 inch PVC and has worked for me. Make sure the PVC can roll once they get on it.

try a Spintech and coon cage on outside lip of barrel, everything else seems to just be a ladder for them dang things.

Have a cage that covers the entire bottom of my 55 gallon barrel and don't have problems. Had a big one once shake the leg and knock the corn down for a bit, until the blunt went through him.
