It had to have been someone close by. What would the odds be of a thief hitting the place the exact night of the purchase, and hitting the barn where it was kept. Someone knew it was there. Either saw her put it in or they knew she was buying it.

Spring Creek is pretty close to that location. My wife and I have road there quite a bit. They are going to make it into a nature preserve any day now, but I would post sign's there or just go sit there for a couple of hours. I hate thieves. KAT

I would definately still check on the homeowners policy as well. I had an atv stolen from my parents and State Farm covered it, no schedule either.
